Back in about March 2006 I bought and read Centennial by James Mitchener....I did not read it in order ie cover to cover, however over a few weeks I probably read most of it.
Also purchased Lonesome Dove by (I need to go look in my bookcase)
but chose only to read about 5 pages - for now

how's the writing going - seems you are posting more about what you are reading and not what you are writing - just curious. I'd like to see this story you are talking about with the civil war letters, et cetera - keep it up - E :)
